Tom Cunningham is no stranger to the insurance industry. For the last 24 years Tom has been an employee of American Modern Insurance. He is a claim supervisor and is responsible for southern Louisiana and southern Texas.

Tom Cunningham and his wife Amy have two daughters Bridget and Kelly. Bridget graduated from The Ohio State University and recently graduated from Cleveland Marshall Law School. Kelly is a junior at Kent State.

Tom and Amy are both graduates of Bowling Green State University. Originally, Tom pursued a career in police work but quickly realized that it wasn’t for him. That is when he decided to pursue a career in the insurance business. He began working for American Modern Insurance and moved from Toledo to Georgetown.  

“Paul Hall Insurance is very prolific,” said Cunningham. When we moved to Georgetown looking around we saw that he had a large presence at the Brown County Fair.”

Tom and his wife moved their family to Georgetown nearly 20 years ago and bought an older home in town. When Tom bought his house the former owner was insured through Sales and Calhall. Paul Hall later acquired that agency. Tom did a lot of work to the home for the first 10-15 years in order to get it insured by Nationwide. Around the time of Tom moving his home under Nationwide, he received a letter from Allstate stating they were dropping his earthquake coverage. This reassured his decision to move to Nationwide. Tom worked with Paul to help transition his insurance and ensure that he would be accepted by Nationwide.

When it has come to his insurance, Tom has never had a whole lot of claims, but when he has Paul Hall Insurance has always been there for him and his family. In addition to their claim services, Tom notes that Paul Hall Insurance’s team goes above and beyond.

“Usually at renewal time you get the first bill and check the rate and have to call the agency,” said Cunningham. “With your agency [Paul Hall & Associates], I get a call from Stephanie Meyer usually a month before the renewal and she has taken care of it.”
